The results based upon the highest spikes in searches for terms compared to the number of times they were searched for the year prior includes everything from devastating natural disasters and horrific tragedies to once in a lifetime opportunities and even a giraffe! Check out the list below!

The top 10 searches of the entire year included some of the same stories with a few others in the mix including the death of an icon, an epic fight, and one of the hottest toy trends we’ve seen in a while! Check out the list below!
